What fantastic history of the Hollies; one of my all time favorite bands. Here's a follow up for you. I was having lunch with Kenny Wynn in LV. He's very into photographic art. A friend that we're sitting with tells him about the album covers and all the pictures I took of groups in the 60's from Fillmore East etc. He says he wants to hook me up with his friend Graham Nash; it seems he's doing top grade prints etc. from photos. Naturally I never called him.
Your blog has brought back so many memories; Steve Pauls Scene; One night late 60's Bobby Held and I are there listening to Eric Burdon sing. At 4:30 a.m. he's so bombed he barely gets up the stairs. We help him outside; he falls into my car and we drive him over to the Waldorf Hotel. Hope he got to his room.
The 60's, Temple dances, frisbee in the park, things I don't want to write so I don't have to explain them to my kids, NYU, Fillmore East, Max's Kansas City, The Electric Circus, The Paupers, Mothers of Invention playing as the house band in the Village with Richie Havens opening every night for him. Listening to a record and actually reading the album cover and all the liner notes.
Somebody stop me
